Kendall, an 18-year-old virgin, gets the opportunity of a lifetime to interview a lottery-winning multi-millionaire/ mafia thug/ FSOG'esc business man, Jace.I'm already rolling my eyes & this shit just got started. Ugh~ A couple of sentences in his office and a couple of sentences over dinner later..... Bam, Jace has Kendall in the restaurant's broom closet. He discovers she's a virgin. He shows her no mercy, no tenderness during nor after he "fucks" her in a closet bareback so hard that her body dents the f'ing wall. She leaves the restaurant with her deflowering juices and his semen literally running down her legs. Can you say yuck?Oh, but he calls her a car and allows her to cover her shredded shirt with his jacket ~ such a nice guy, huh? Her thoughts on this..."I realized that last night was the first time I'd felt really good about myself for a long time. All my life, when somebody noticed me at all, I usually saw indifference or disappointment. Last night, I looked up at Jace and saw that I was the center of the universe for a moment. What a feeling.Well, fuck me! Ifthatmade you feel good about yourself, you've got bigger problems than being mauled bareback by a guy with these thoughts.... "Of all the girls I'd had my way with, I'd never wanted to fuck one twice. What was the point? They'd never forget the time I'd fucked them, they'd think of me when some poor asshole married them. No woman had so much that I couldn't take it in one session. Kendall was different somehow, though. I still remembered her name for some reason."Chapter 11: An Entire Chapter For A Spa DayListen, I've read a shit load of fluff in my literary lifetime, but I don't think I've ever seen an entire chapter with nothing but a description of what's done at a spa. And sadly, even the description itself is pathetically f'd up. "Can I recommend a chocolate-dipped strawberry. The chocolateis very fresh this time of year.Chapter12: Wax, Hair, Makeup, & DiamondsI damn sure didn't need two cans! Another chapter completely devoted to how to pamper oneself. Gosh, gee, willy isn't that fun!!!!Girls, this is who you SHOULDN'T EVER BECOME. For her brain!!! Don't be that girl that loses her v card to a douche that takes you in a broom closet, throws a jacket over you, sends you home alone in a car, and then comes back days later to dress you up as a 100k doll so that he can... And I quote from his own inner thoughts... " I decided I probably just needed to fuck the life out of her one more time to get her out of my system. " Considering she'd have no doubt skewered herself on his penis for little more than him just saying hello... Chapter 11 & 12 just made the romance worse because he don't even know why he did it:"I could've fucked her again without organizing everything that I had today. I couldn't even explain to myself exactly why I'd done it." And, she don't know why he did it:"We're you trying to... buy me today? I don't think I could live with-" Ugh~ Where The Fuck Did That Come From? So, you're reading along with this shit above where she's basically a "tight teen" for him to amuse himself with a little while .... Then, all of a damn sudden, out of the clear blue sky, it's a 180 degree turn to he f'ing loves her and she loves him, she has a little area for her clothes when she stays with him, he's throwing himself atop her under a spray of bullets, & nothing in the f'ing world matters if he doesn't have her. Did the pages of dialogue and monologue explaining this abrupt change get lost? Wtf?The EndGood Lawd! Seriously?!? Kung-Fu panda lmao. Pollyanna turns Ramboa. This shit was laughable, really!

Do you like your erotic romance hot, dirty and often, any time, any place? Like a lot of anti-hero in your alpha male or doe-eyed innocence in your in-over-her-head heroine? Still A Bad Boy by Ada Scott has all that and more, darkness, danger, death and one man’s need to control his world and administer the justice he deems fit, while one teen wants to be special, to feel loved and cared for.Kendall is a young reporter, still a teen, and yet she has scooped the journalism world by being the only scribe to gain audience with the uber powerful Jace, lottery winner, business mogul and mob boss. Far out of her league, her teenaged youth and innocence intrigues Jace and he must have her as one more notch on his bedpost. Dinner under the auspice of an interview becomes animal sex in a restaurant kitchen closet, with Jace reveling in the “machismo” of taking Kendall’s virginity and leaving her, wet, stunned and with the remnants of their act running down her legs and alone. If that doesn’t tell you the type of man Jace is, nothing will, but he has mesmerized Kendall and he needs to feel close to her purity in his own way. Two different worlds, two people craving fulfillment of love and lust. Will Jace’s world bring danger to Kendall? Will Kendall’s freshness and often mentioned youth bring light and redemption into Jace’s world? Can Kendall live with what Jace has done and will continue to do in the future? Love knows no limits and only those in love can understand what is truly important.Never let it be said that Ada Scott cannot write erotic, flaming heat! Without asking you to like the actions of her characters, she lays it all out there and whips up a tale that makes turning each page to discover new secrets almost impossible. Leave your inhibitions at the door as best you can, as one damaged alpha and one delicate flower attempt to weather the storms of life. Ms. Scott writes on-the-edge, in-your-face romance filled with jagged edges, dark twists and hopes for redemption. There's enough grit to make a sand dune, enough heat to put it in the Sahara.I received this copy from Ada Scott in exchange for my honest review.Series: Still a Bad Boy - Book 1Publication Date: October 30, 2015Publisher: Bad Boy Romance PressGenre: Erotic Romance | SuspensePrint Length: 204 pagesAvailable from: AmazonFor Reviews & More:

Mixed feeling on this one. There's a lot wrong with this book and I can see why a lot of readers don't like it.Kendall is only eighteen and a very young eighteen at that, she's moved to the city to make a name for herself as a reporter I can't help but think she's chosen the wrong career. Anyway she's been sent to interview the elusive billionaire Jace Barlow, why her? Because Jace doesn't see reporters so no one actually expects her to get anywhere near him but Jace finds himself intrigued by the young girl sat waiting for him and so instead of sending her away like he always does he invites her in.This is a dual POV book but unfortunately Jace's head wasn't always a nice place to be..***She wasn’t going to be getting a meaningful interview for The Weekly Whatever-the-f**k it was, she was going to be getting some hard c**k. That’s all I was willing to give her........."How old are you?” I asked. "Me? I’m… I’m eighteen.” Teen pussy. Just what the doctor ordered.*****Ok so you get the idea and he gets worse and it's annoying how bad she is at her job then on top of this we get chapters of filler (spa, shopping, hair and makeup) but despite all this and there's a lot of 'this' I still read this to the end and I enjoyed parts of it.I wanted Jace and Kendall to work out, mainly because despite his faults he saw her, he cared for her and he made her feel good about herself and I'm a sucker for romance and I always want it to work and I was there with them till the end with my metaphorical fingers crossed.

2.5 StarsMy opinion. This was a bit crazy and all over the place. I felt like the couples' love for each other came out of nowhere. The entire relationship felt rushed. I think it would have been better in this case to focus on the ouple and not so much on the mob info in this book. The heroine is surprised when she gets to interview the reclusive, Jace, for the magazine she works for. Jace won the lottery and instead of spending it, he built an empire. The heroine goes to the interview him, but gets no information. He tells her to meet him for dinner later. She does meet him, but they end up having unprotected sex in the storage area. (Not hot) Jace claims to feel different around her and she feels special around him. The feelings between these two felt misplaced. Too much details about certain things. I did not need every detail about the spa that Jace sent Kendall to.

As unrealistic as this book is, I really enjoyed it as a fun escape. Jace is definitely a mafia bad boy and Kendall is a very young and naive girl, but their loving was oh so hot. The sex scenes had the feel of smutty erotica, especially with the vernacular, but there was plenty of plot to keep my interest beyond just being downright dirty. It begins with lust and slowly develops into love, but the ending was very abrupt with many minor details left hanging--maybe to continue the series with a second book about the same characters? There is enough closure with this book that it could be complete, but I'd like more details about what happened with Jace and the Picollis at the end. Anyhow, as Ms. Scott's first book, I was pleasantly surprised and will look for more of her work in the future.

WOW! Kendell is so fresh, trying to do right by her job and the people at her job and not wanting to return to hometown where she will look like she failed so she pushes herself harder at her new job but she doesn’t know how things will change, especially when she interviews Jace Barlow.Jace is the bad boy with a heart of gold or gold for only Kendall. He is the ultimate enforcer from the Mafia. Jace finally decides to “allow” Kendall to meet with him and when she did, OMG the chemistry between them was so good. Now Jace will not stop at getting Kendall right at where he wants her—beneath him and besides him.Their path to romance was rocky but Jace and Kendall were on this journey together. Jace wasn’t going to let Kendall go, this was his woman and when an alpha male goes after something, THEY GO. This is one HAWT read, and I highly recommend this. Kendall is a spirited woman who stands up for her beliefs and doesn’t back down; she is feisty, innocent, at times shy and above all, stands up for her man. Jace is ALL ALPHA – he is handsome, hard, and fights for what he believes in. This is one of those books that you hate when its over. I cannot wait to read what the author has next coming up. Jace that sexy man, I loved him right off, "I made the decision on the spot to break the rules and invite her into my office. She wasn’t going to be getting a meaningful interview for The Weekly Whatever-the-eff it was, she was going to be getting some hard ***k. That’s all I was willing to give her." I liked this book. I kept wondering how old Jace was though that was never mentioned. The book was fast paced.

Mafia eroticaJace Barlow has led a harsh life since the murder of his parents. Orphaned at a young age, he’s left with raw determination and the will to survive so he can exact revenge on the Picolli Crime Family organization, a leading mafia family that put a hit on his parents. Jace knows his plan will only work if he is accepted within the ranks. With each passing year he accepts jobs, eventually earning their trust, until he rises to a level of hired muscle in the organization. His plans for revenge are fast forwarded as he wins big in a lottery, and with money comes power and he shuts down the crime family’s hold on the city.Kendall Brookes is an eighteen year-old journalist intern at the Weekly Enquirer. She’s given a chance to show her moxie, when an opportunity to interview billionaire Jace Barlow, is granted. Never mind her boss thinks she’ll be one of many that get rejected by Jace Barlow. His attraction to her is instant lust while he can’t help how fresh and innocent she looks. Jace is a man use to a life of violence, and I just love how he is so jaded he doesn’t take any bullying from anybody, and he won’t tolerate it when it happens to Kendall. His protective instincts kick in when he realizes she’s endured enough humiliation, and he sees her as the gem she really is. Kendall is everything Jace didn’t know was missing in his harsh lifestyle. With Kendall he finds hope, redemption, and the chance for love.Overall, I enjoyed reading Still A Bad Boy. The pacing was fast, the writing is fluid, there’s plenty of steamy sex, and the suspense level is what made it a page turner. Ms. Scott wrote Kendall’s character as a naïve and innocent teenager. I’m okay with that. What I didn’t like was the numerous times her hooha was referenced as “teen tunnel” or “teen slit.” That just ratchet up the “eck” factor and shoved me out of the story each time I came across it. I swear I thought I was reading an X-rated YA book. I’m not a prude, I like my smutty reads sexually imaginative, even filthy when appropriate, but being a contemporary romance shouldn’t we try to give our heroines a sense of empowerment, even at 18?I was given a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. My rating: 3.5

what do you do as still a green behind the ears reporter, sent in to try and interview the most elusive jace barlow, a self made businessman who got lucky with the lottery. you hope for the best and prepare an excuse for your boss when you get back empty handed, right? that's what kendall thought too when much to her surprise she's let into the inner sanctum of jace barlow.jace is instantly intrigued by the young journalist sitting in his waiting room. normally he doesn't talk to them, not even briefly. but there is something about kendal that sparks his interest and he just has to know her, feel her, fuck her and make her his.kendal is overwhelmed with the attention she's getting but she's unsure what to make of it all. despite her boss trying to stick another reporter on him, jace isn't having any of that. he only talks to kendall and her alone. as the days go by she thinks she's starting to get to know him, she knows he's someone you don't mess with, someone who doesn't shy back for putting another person in their place.things around jace are going from bad to worse but he's handling "things" but one morning when he's doing just that kendal walks in on him and get the biggest wake up call of her life!what will she do when the man she came to love turns out to be a cold blooded murderer?that and many more questions need to be answered and this is only on the surface of this story! it's dark, it's gritty, it's an emotional rollercoaster for both kendall and jace. what a ride this was! i couldn't put this down, i just had to know what happened. jade is a bad boy, a real bad boy, someone you don't mess with. i can't blame kendall one bit for falling for him, he is charming and direct. to see him battling his own demons makes him human. if you like a love story with a good backbone, drama, love, heartache but no cliffhangers, you will do well with getting this one in your library!free copy gifted in exchange for an honest review

Believe the title. Jace is one mean, violent, hard-edged bad boy who punishes with his fists as much as with other hotter parts of this body.Wow, I didn't expect that kind of raw, unadulterated aggressiveness from him, but yeah, it works! Sometimes, bad boys are that just in attitude, but no, this alpha-male is as stark as they come. He might have built his business empire on a lucky winning lottery ticket, but he's still a tattooed mobster with dark connections, dirty dealings, and a penchant for unapologetic takings of innocent, untouched journalists-to-be like Kendall. From an awkward interview prolonged into several sessions, they just hit it in blazing ways of flesh and panting explorations. The poor girl would have stopped a derailed train more easily than this bully of a man. Beyond the wild nature of their passionate encounters, I also appreciated that they connected in a way that made it all deeper and warmer than just basic instinct. She's always felt worthless, unappreciated. All she wants is to be more than a shadow and a failure. She craves to be desirable. As to Jace, he feels important and heroic for the first time in his life. He basks in the admiration he sees in her eyes. I truly appreciated those dynamics between them. The narrative is steadily strong and full of energy. I had a lot of fun, even smiled and laughed a little. Though the power of the story gripped me hard as it vibrated with mafia vendettas, violent crimes, chocolate-flavoured sexy times, and a couple who are a match made in a fallen-angel heaven. I absolutely lovee everything about Ada Scott's story. I only hope she comes up with another holy-sh*t bad boy soon enough!

I received Still a Bad Boy as an ARC from the author to express my personal opinion. I in no way have received any monetary value for my thoughts. WOW Just the Teaser Graphic I saw alone had me wanting to read this book. Jace Barlow is a dirty talking multi-millionaire bad boy with a dark and shady past. Never wanted anything thing more than a once and done with the opposite sex at least until. Kendall Brookes walks in his company in hopes of getting an exclusive from the man behind the lottery. Jace has not had an easy life losing his parents at a young age and shuffled through the system. He grows up learning to fight. Once learning the truth behind his parent’s death. He decided to fight the evil from the inside. He became the enforcer for the Picollis Family the family that caused the demise of his parents and was determined to bring them down. Almost eradicating the Picollis Family he thought his future was safe. Kendall Brookes a shy and meek girl leaves home to become a journalist finding an internship with the Weekly Enquirer. Her Boss Mr Kinsley sends her to get the interview all other media conglomerates have failed to get. The one interview that if she can snag will prove that she has what it takes. What she did not expect was to meet Jace Barlow and fall for him. I love how the characters interacted with each the depth of the characters make them real to life. The World created for us to traverse through was amazing and very detailed. I sure hope to get more Jace in the future. 4.5 Stars

I received this for an honest review. As far as I know this is Ada Scott’s first book and let me tell you that you are in for a real treat. I just loved Jace Barlow in this book. He was so freaking sexy. Kendall Brookes who was an intern at the Weekly Enquirer was sent to interview the multibillionaire Jace Barlow. Everyone that was sent to interview Jace was sent away. He was one that just did not do interviews. He was a private men and stayed out of the spotlight. So she was surprised when Jace was willing to see here. She was more surprised when he started flirting with her. Jace when he saw Kendall she saw her innocents. His body craved that innocents that she had. Kendall did not know it but Jace was getting read to claim her as his. The feelings that Jace was developing for Kendall scared him and took him by surprised. Jace knew he should keep his distance for Kendall. He knew that she might not except the life that he lived. He had plan taking down the Picolli Crime Family and with that came dirty hands. This is a super hot book. Plenty of hot steamy parts to melt your panties..LOL. There is no way you will read this book and not fall in love with Jace.

Romantic Read.Pros :1) Fluid writing and story flow was there.2) Panty melting moments with hot smutty rough talking hero. (Yay!)3) Roughish sex but pretty romantic steamy moments. (Double yay!)4) Loved how the characters grew individually and together. (Triple yay!)5) Vein of sly humour that pops out of the blue.6) Ending was nicely done. But there may be some views that it was a bit abrupt.7) Violent scenes were great.Cons :1) Midway through it, even though story was still moving at a nice steady pace, I couldn't help feeling as if I was frozen in time and it was moving and yet not moving. (A bit of a surreal moment there)Conclusion :1) IMHO, romance level = 9/10. Suspense level = 8.5/10.2) Ada Scott is definitely on my list of favourite authors.*** ARC provided by Author for an honest review ***

This was a great story of a young woman, Kendall, trying to make it in the city as a journalist. Sent to interview the man who always cancels interviews, she is not prepared when he agrees to let her in his office. Jace has had a rough life and after winning the lotto things seem good, on the outside. As they find themselves together more to help her with her life changing interview, the chemistry is hot. But the past and secrets have a way of coming back. I enjoyed Kendall and Jace's characters. It was great to see each other grow. I liked the storyline and the twists. I had to read it in one sitting.

He is determined to have her but not give her the interview. He is hiding secrets and when she finds out about them its a shock to her. The Picolli Crime Family is after them and betrayal abounds thru Jace's ranks. I did not want the book to end. Oh Wow!! I'm still fanning myself! This book was HOT! It has the intensity I love, the drive, the power, the erotic sex, hunger , and madness all rolled into one! Kendall an intern for a paper is supposed to get a big story from this cocky millionaire Jace. He's got all the makings of being a bad boy. The tattoos, the power, the ties. Hes driven on taking down the mob, not caring about much until he meets Kendall, shes an innocent good girl. That is until Jace gets his hands on her, then she's ruined forever, Jace is the type to get what he wants, and nothing will stop him. Definitely recommended , it'll keep you wanting more!!

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.I really liked this book as it shows the transformation of a shy young girl who is basically scared of her own shadow into a confident gun toting proud-of-her-curves woman. All because someone sees the true woman inside and brings that out with all the love HE didn't even realize he had in him. He thought he could handle anything but when she ran from him, he almost lost it. Will she forgive him? Can she still love him after he reveals all of the truth? This book was very well written and I had a hard time putting it down.

I’m not usually a fan of stories where the main male character is a billionaire with the perfect body and a huge dick, but I like Jace in this story. He isn’t the stereotypical billionaire god found in so many stories these days. Sure, overall he is the bad guy, but he is a bad guy for good reason. I also really like Kendall. I enjoyed reading about how, with Jace’s help, Kendall’s confidence and self-worth blossomed. At first I was afraid that this story would be a bit too predictable, but I was pleasantly surprised. I look forward to reading more stories by this author.

Great Book! This is a great book; this is the first book in the Still a Bad Boy series by Ada Scott. Kendall is working for a local paper, when her new boss thinks she is getting the scoop of the century about the most powerful man in the city, Jace Barlow. Jace has dedicated his life to taking down the Picolli Crime Family from the inside; he is the mafia’s most brutal enforcer. If you are looking for a hot book, then you need to read this book. You have Kendall which is sweet and innocent that has to go interview Jace. Jace is a rough and tough guy with sexy good looks. When Kendall and Jace meet chemistry is flying between them. Holy carp,That was a good read. The action is like none other you would find written for a free kindle romance. This is one you want to read simply for the way it keeps you on the edge and in full on adrenaline rush. Unfortunately, I kind of lost sight of the romance and tucked it away as a back story. I became way more interested in Jace handling business. It was phenomenal. Loved it.
