This was hard to rate. I enjoyed it but it was little things that bothered me though which made it hard to rate. The story is about Sinclair or Sin and Gilly. She is retiring from modeling and to get close to her much older sister who was her guardian since their parents died. She meets Gilly who is a bar owner and security analyst that people and agencies consult. They meet and there is instant attraction that develops into love but Sin has a stalker that they must find him so she is safe and they can really be free in their relationship.I liked the hero and heroine because they don't run and hide from their feelings. They embrace it and enjoy falling for each other. It also definitely had steam which is always good. My minor issues are the sister Andy who I felt treated Sin like a kid when she is 27 years old. She is also having her own personal issues as well but I understood her worry about the stalker. I also had a couple of moments with Sin but she was also mature enough to realize her foolish moments so it made up for it. So it helped with my overall rating. But there was something missing or maybe because I wanted more that didn't make it a five star. But I would definitely recommend for a easy read that has steam, low angst, a really sweet alpha hero and a likable heroine who is nice but also has strength.

Reread May 2017These two are great together. Gully is an awesome hero. *****4.5 StarsGilly is a hot, ex-military, bar owner. Sin is a model who decided she was done and was going to Oklahoma to visit her sister, Andromeda (how cool a name is that) otherwise known as Andy. The two meet by accident and the sparks fly. This was definitely insta-lust with love soon following just a few days later, which I absolutely adore. (I hate when it’s dragged out) Throw in a very creepy stalker (who did some really disgusting things) and you have a very good suspense romance, heavy on the romance, light on the suspense. My only complaints were one, I felt things were a little rushed in the end. Bam, it’s done and settled. The second complaint, and this is just a personal preference (view spoiler)[ was Sin’s rescue. I know, I know….she was traumatized and it shouldn’t matter who saved her. I just wanted it to be Gilly. Sin was adamant about getting back to Gilly once she knew he was alive. And the fact, Seth was able to see the naked pictures (close-ups) of Sin…I just didn’t like it.(hide spoiler)]Now, I can’t wait for Andy, Jamisen, and Tuck’s story!

4.0+ RATING- I liked this book a lot more than the first in the series (which I liked but thought it fell a little flat at points). The chemistry between the two characters was well done and the story well paced (if you don't consider the instant love between the two characters. It wasn't an issue for me but it was immediate). The sexy bits were steamy and the book overall was very readable. It had all the right ingredients to be the type of guilty pleasure read I love.I'd recommend to readers that enjoy damsels in distress, protective heroes, instant attraction and don't mind a novella length story.

I liked this one because all the characters were basically perfect in every way and the only conflict was with the villain. Totally unrealistic, but I needed zero internal conflict in my entertainment today. But -2 stars for this mess:"They were both in a position to have access to Sin’s rooms during photoshoots. The other guy’s name is [redacted]. I gave his name to Malcolm to look into.”“You think he’s the [bad] guy?”“At the moment, I’d lay odds on it,” Gilly stated. “There was just something about him from the beginning that kept making me look at him. He has three restraining orders against him by women who said he stalked them. He had an arrest for putting a camera in his shoe and filming women changing in dressing rooms."GEE, COULD THAT GUY POSSIBLY BE THE STALKER?! And I'm not even kidding, the two suspects are a photographer and an assistant. The security badass hot guys are guarding a party looking for this stalker, but they don't even know which guy they're looking for. They're just like... "on the lookout for The Stalker" like a guy will be creeping around in a fedora and trench coat. Of course the bad guy gets in anyway, posing as a photographer? Like, if you thought maybe the stalker was a professional photographer, wouldn't you check out all the photographers hired for this event? Apparently not, but I'm no security specialist, what the fuck do I know?"ITMAKESNOSENSEY'ALL!!!!They finally decide on who the suspect is because he and Sin both know the same person. They fucking WORKED together! Of COURSE they know the same people! I'm so frustrated with how illogical this all is. Everything was going fine and fucking dandy until this ONE scene just a) unraveled the plot, or b) showed the entire Knight's Watch and all the other badass alpha dudes to be incompetent. Which is it? I dunno. I'm too pissed to care.

This is the second installment in an amazing series. Sin has decided she is done with her modeling career and wants to fins a place to settle down in. She heads to where her older sister Andy on the way she gets lost and stops at a bar to use the restroom and meets Gilly Marston. Gilly is an ex-military man that owns and runs the bar. Sin and Gilly hit it off from the start and end up having dinner together. He walks her to her car and gives her his numbers before he sends her to meet her sister at The Knight's Watch. What Sin doesn't know is that she has a stalker that has followed her on her journey to see her big sister This book incorporates the characters from the first into this second one so it blends well within the storyline. Plus you also get to catch up with the other characters that you grew to love from the previous story. I laughed hard at some of the antics of the characters in this book. I stayed up really late because I couldn't put it down to finish it another day. I loved this story and got lost in it while reading which in my mind makes for an amazing night. I recommend this to anyone that loves a story so great that you lose yourself laughing at the characters and enjoying the story even at the more serious of moments. Lacey Thorn always brings the best stories to life. I can't wait to see what the next one will bring to us.

Oh this book was so much better than the first one! I have to admit I didn't know how Gilly was going to react when he finally found himself a woman. Gilly is the owner of the pub called Gilly's. He's an ex-military man and still does work for the CIA and FBI when necessary. In the first books we only get a glimpse of Gilly and he portrays a laid back man. But the minute he lays eyes Sinclair (Sin) he knows she's someone special to him. Now to convince her Oklahoma is the place for her to stay.Sinclair Eisley has finally quit her modeling career and is ready to just live. Taking an extended vacation to visit her sister in Oklahoma is the perfect opportunity to just relax and live a little. Who would've thought getting lost and walking into Gilly's would lead to her finding the love of her life? However, there's someone else who believes he's the man for her. Can Gilly protect Sin from her stalker and convince her to stay with him? Can't wait to read Tucker, Jaimeson, and Andromeda!!

I really liked Sinclair in this story. She has been a successful model and now is ready for a change. She wants to re-connect with her sister never expecting to find a smoking hot love! Ms. Thorn wrote a story that was full of heat. Both Sinclair and Gilly were not expecting the fireworks when they met but it felt oh so real. Sinclair is used to people seeing her body but Gilly saw more and she loved it. Gilly wasn't expecting to see his future in the recently retired model but when her life was endangered he was more than ready to step up to the plate. This story had heat. It was full of passion and sexy times that fit the story and the characters. The chemistry literally flew off the pages and I believed in it. The attraction felt real and for all that the connection was quick, it fit the story Ms. Thorn was trying to tell. This was a wonderful addition to this series and I can't wait to see more of the men and women of Knight's Watch find their happily ever afters.

I just love this series, as well as her Awakening Pride PNR series! If you haven't read Lacey Thorn, you really should!I fell in love with Gilly in the first Knight's Watch book and that just expanded in this one. He's quite the yummy hero and he and Sin have an immediate connection. They have great chemistry, and a fun back-and-forth dialogue from the start. She and her sister, Andy's, relationship is really nice as well. The chemistry of all the Knight's Watch guys together is so much fun too! I can't wait to see who's next in this series as there are so many possibilities. Squee! Finally, I do have to say that I really, really love Seth. After all he's been through, I really hope he can eventually find his HEA too!Great, fun addition to this series! <3

Second in series. LOVE this ladies writing. I first got hooked on Lacey's paranormal books and now I have an addiction to her Knight's Watch series. Sinclair or Sin is ready to leave modeling behind and a creepy stalker she knows nothing about. Gilligan or Gilly meets Sin when she stops at his bar for directions and the sparks fly, love at first sight. Great chemistry, well written,HOT sex scenes, creepy crazy guy, great storyline and enough of when's it gonna happen to keep you reading. If you enjoy HEA and lots of sexy males, get this series.
