I really enjoyed this read by Leanna Sain. The mystery, romance and intriguing characters kept this moving along at a good pace. The fact that it's set in Savannah, Georgia added an historical element to the plot. I visited Savannah for the first time, last year and was picturing the landmarks mentioned throughout the story. Lily was a convincingly created character who endears the reader immediately with her quirky character.

On 3.16.17 at the Henderson Co. Library in Hendersonville, NCA friend and I had the pleasure of meeting/greeting with author Leanna Sain. At a book club we had already read the Trilogy of "Gate to Nowhere" and loved the books. Leanna Sain gave us a peek of the "Red Curtains" main characters: Lily, Cleo, and Jonas interaction wit each other. We could not wait to dig into the book.If you love a mystery with a bit of comic, a bit of sadness, very intriguing plot this book is for you. This book is the 1st in the G.R.I.T.S. (Girls Raised In The South) novels soon to come, Mrs. Sain promises. I cannot wait. In Leanna Sain's discussion of the characters that insist on being a "star" in her writing, I could imagine characters swarming around her mind just bursting to come forward in print. A delightful, refreshing "character" in her own person.B. Sheldrick
