What I enjoyed most about Love Me, Love Me Not is that it didn't rely on typical tropes as a main source of conflict. For example, misunderstandings and miscommunications rarely happened. Even when there was one, it was cleared up rather quickly. It wasn't prolonged and it didn't create unnecessary drama. Hailey, the main female character, had low self esteem. This wasn't used to cause problems between her and her love interest like I see over and over again in similar novels where self doubt is used to cause conflict. I will stop there because the other things are spoilers. Basically, it was refreshing to see the protagonists not react in predictable ways. There was also no love triangle. The ending was satisfactory while leaving some things to ponder to make you want to read the next book. I know I will be reading the next installment in this series when it comes out.

4.5 StarsHailey is in her senior year of high school. She has been in the foster system for a few years and has been moved from home to home. Her mother is a deadbeat who didn't even care enough to feed her while she was growing up. The only consistency she has in life is Chase. Who also is bad news and the reason she keeps getting kicked out of foster homes. Brad is your typical rich high school boy, star quarter back and gorgeous. He doesn't date, but instead spends his time working out and getting good grades. After getting kicked out of her current foster home, Hailey is shipped to a new town and new school. She seems to have hit the foster kid lottery when she gets places with Brad and his family. They treat Hailey like she is really part of the family and welcome her with open arms. I really enjoyed the closeness of Brad and his parents. They joked around together and were big on spending family time together. Brad's parents are his biggest supports and go to all his games. Brad and Hailey discover they have feelings for each other that are not brotherly or sisterly. I enjoyed all most everything about this book. At times I was a little disappointed with how Brad acted with the surprise worked into the story line, he seemed very immature at times, but then I had to remember he was only 18. The only other thing in the story line that bothered me was that the major event a the end of the book seemed to go unanswered. I wanted to know more details, the consequences and would they get things back? However at the end of the book I did see that these things would be answered in the next book, so that made me happy.

I found this book by chance on ibooks, it was free, and the blurb sounded good. And i am so glad i decided to browse that day, cause this book had me hooked from beginning to end. Hailey has had a pretty rough up bringing, no thanks to her mother. She has been moved around several times, and the last one a few months before her 18th Birthday. There she meets Brad...and things start to look up for her....but of course there has to be some drama (which i will not go into to, but thoroughly enjoyed.First book i have read by S.M Koz and i can't wait for book two.Below is the link to the free book on amazonhttp://amzn.to/1SAxpxw

2.5 StarsThe characters were juvenile and unrealistic. The writing wasn't bad, and the plot overall was good, but the way everything happened, and people's reactions etc, were just not realistic. Plus there was WAY too much drama that wasn't necessary.

Hailey Brown Brad Campbell I was excited about this book because the rating was so high. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected. It's not that it was a bad book. I did enjoy parts of it. Hailey and Brad's relationship started way too fast for me. There was little time between when they met and when they were working toward a relationship. But later in the story after they were in a relationship it was cute. They worked well together. What I really liked was the conflict of Hailey being a foster kid and afraid she would be sent back. I don't want to give away too much of what happens but it was a good read. The piece that I did not like is the added drama of (view spoiler)[Michelle's pregnancy (hide spoiler)]. That part was just way too much. And that is one of the main reasons that I will not be continuing with this series. This book ends up in a good place anyways so I don't feel like it is a big deal.

This was my first time ever reading anything by S.M. Koz, and I am glad that I was chosen by Destiny Hawkins of Hawkview Book Review Services for the opportunity to experience S.M. Koz in her novel Love Me, Love Me Not. It took me all of two days to read it, and I was invested from the first page. There is suspense, romance, teenage angst and baby drama. Add to that a couple of psycho’s and of course, the rags to riches plot and you have a fun read. You get to see the story from both views of the character which I love. I am a huge fan now and can't wait for to see what happens in the series.

I just finished and oh my gosh!!!! Holy Crap! I'm left wanting so much more. I can't wait to see where they go next!!!! I couldn't put this down. This was truly a great book and a great plot. I love the banter between the characters. All the relationships seem genuine, real and not forced.Your heart aches for Hailey. The author does a great job making you feel genuinely invested in the relationships and you find yourself eager to see what happens next.I really look forward to what happens next. I have a book hangover that won't be satisfied till I read about them again!

I didn't feel like reading the 3 other books I am reading (and I was too lazy to go get them) and since the fanfic I am hooked on hasn't updated since this morning (usually it's like two chapters a day) I figured I would go on swoonreads and see what's up. It wasn't bad. Pretty predictable but it was good. A quick read and it was interesting. I thought that Brad was too hard to believe, I mean he sounded a bit toooooo perfect (but it's nice to dream). But it was cute.3.5/5

I loved this book. I thought the plot of the story was so unique and that the descriptions of everything were perfect. I looked up Monet and he was an actual painter so obviously a lot of research went in to make this book. I have reread it so many times and will continue to reread it. I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out.

3.75***Written well and had loveable characters. I almost stopped reading from chapter 20 as I didn't like the direction and what was happening to Brad. Continued in hopes for something to maybe change. Still a few more twists onwards and finishing with more to come. Not sure when the next book is out and if I'll read.

This book threw my expectations out the window, in the best way possible. Hailey is in foster care; an older child in the system with a mother that just doesn't care enough to take care of her. When she is placed with a family that genuinely seems to want to help her, and one that cares for her, Hailey chooses to ignore the feelings for her foster brother...she doesn't want to jeopardize anything. S.M. Koz has written a book that touches on some pretty tough topics with grace; and don't even get me started on the slow burn romance. Thanks to Swoon Reads for the ARC!

Great read for 13 year of age and up.I love that I can easy follow the plot and predict what is going on. I put myself into the characters as I read and predict what I would do in their situation for the outcome I want. I love how this rich family is so understanding and loving unlike the real rich people out there that make this a wonderful story that I can't wait for the next book. I hope it has the same predictable outcome that I love.

Love Me, Love Me Not is the first book that I have read by SM Koz and it will not be the last. I absolutely loved it. I loved the story line and was immediately pulled in to the story. This book is about hope, love and forgiveness and most importantly believing in yourself and not letting your past define who you are and what you can become. It was heartbreaking at times, but also uplifting and hopeful. I loved the dual POV’s and insight from each of the characters.Hailey was born into a life that no child should have to be born into. Finally, just months before her eighteenth birthday, Hailey was put into foster care. Her boyfriend was a horrible influence and got her kicked out of several foster homes before she finally was placed in the home of her dreams with the Campbell family. They are rich, loving and everything a child could want for parents. Not to mention their 18 year old son, Brad, who is gorgeous and the most giving and kind person Hailey had ever met.Brad was born into wealth with two loving and supportive parents. He was happy to open his home to a foster sibling. Brad had ambitions and was a star football player. He had his life planned out. He was going to graduate, go to college and then follow in his father’s footsteps to become a psychiatrist. He had no time for a relationship and that did not bother him. When Hailey arrived, she knocked him off his feet. He became close to her and his feelings were protective, but definitely were not brotherly. The relationship between Brad and Hailey is very special and they face so many challenges and heartaches. This book is filled with so many emotions that really touched my heart. You will laugh, cry, and scream many times over. I highly recommend this book and I cannot wait for more of this series!

I received an ARC for an honest review Review by The Club Hailey has been dealt a crappy life. A drug addict mom caused her to be thrown in foster care but she's been moved several times due to her breaking the rules by having her POS bf sneak into her room. Finally she is placed into a great family away from her BF into a new school who also have a boy the same age as her. Things are looking up. But can she manage to stay out of trouble long enough to enjoy their hospitality or will she ruin it somehow?Brad is the star quarterback. He's got it made with two amazing and caring parents, universities wanting to scout him for football scholarships, and gorgeous to boot. But when his parents bring in Hailey to foster, he realizes his life just got a little more interesting. He wants to protect her and his feelings have nothing brotherly about them. But will it ruin everything and have her taken from them? Or will their pasts come back to ruin it all before he ever gets the chance to see where it goes? I absolutely loved this story. The dynamics of their lives couldn't be more opposites. Girl from the wrong side of the tracks falls for the rich boy who has it all. There is drama to last a lifetime for these two as they navigate something totally foreign and new to them. Brads past comes to bite him in the butt whole Haileys past threatens to take away the best life she's had yet. And the chemistry between Brad and Hailey is fun and sweet. They both know what they want and have level heads compared to most teenagers. She stands her ground and let's Brad know her thoughts and is supportive just as he is of her. this was a great story and perfect for teens and adults to get lost in. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book for these two. there are still some big decisions to make and life altering changes to come. 5 stars

Really did enjoy this book but there were so many things that pissed me off. Reading so many books has made me able to usually guess what happens and I guessed correct Michelle betrayed them and told Chase, the first clue was the mum telling Hailey. The thing that pissed me off the most was that Hailey never told anyone about what her mum said. Was she stupid or stupid? IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THEY WOULD FIND A WAY!! I don't hate her but I hate her for not telling anyone. The second thing that pissed me off was that she wasn't really cautious around Mitchell. Now I believe people can change but for Mitchell to switch for hating her to liking her that fast and not thinking anything that was stupid too. I mean I would support every thing she did with brad and the baby but Mitchell was sketchy, there was so many signs that she had an unhealthy obsession with brad.Thirdly, Mitchell gave the DUMBEST reason for letting Chase in, 'he said he was only going to steal some electronics' now that is one of the MOST RIDICULOUS THINGS I HAVE EVER HEARD, I'm not 17 but even I know Chase would have stole the painting . Who would have listened to his word? If I was Mitchell I would have been smarter and gotten someone who would give them a scare or give a reason for them to hate Hailey and never speak to her again, but then she most likely is mentally ill so she clearly wouldn't have been that smart.Thank you I needed to release this rant it is not finish as it is after 2am and I can't be bothered to write anymore also please excuse my bad grammar and punctuation I couldn't be bothered enough to fix it. Good night and peace out .

    * I received an ebook in exchange for an honest review. * This was my first book by author S. M. Koz but it will NOT be my last!! She hooked me from the very first paragraph and she never let me go, not even after the book ended. I was still thinking about the characters, the plot and the continuation of how I wanted and pictured the story continuing. The author did an amazing job with the character development, the plot and with keeping the reader guessing as to what may happen next.Hailey has never had an easy life and she knows that life has plenty of surprises (good and bad) left waiting for her...if she can continue to work towards making her life better and finding her way. Brad has had an easy life with just about everything he has ever wanted being available to him....until he meets Hailey. The two of them become close friends until the unthinkable happens and they are torn apart by things that they cannot control. The author takes the reader through some ups, downs, loops and curves but she never once allows the reader to take a second to breath or try to predict what may be coming next. The plot deals with hard to dream of things, such as foster care, life on a child's own and even trust or lack of it and the author does this all with respect and with the ability to help inform the reader of real life problems that people encounter.Add this to your TBR list and do it quickly!! This is an amazing read that you don't want to miss! ***Review has been done in conjunction with Nerd Girl Official. I absolutely loved this book. Hailey's upbringing leaves a lot to be desired. Her mother was not a good role model but Hailey is a better person despite it. She doesn't take things for granted and likes to earn what is given to her besides the basic necessities. She is mistreated by her boyfriend Chase as well. I think the maltreatment makes her stronger.I think that the development of the characters was done well. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and I didn't want to put it down. I like that the characters are relatable. Growing up, teens have many things changing in their lives and there are choices that they have to make. They most often do not think or realize what consequences might happen based on their decisions.Hailey is placed into foster care in her senior year of high school. Her boyfriend Chase always seems to cause trouble for her and keeps getting kicked out of her new foster homes. She finally finds an awesome family to live with until she ages out of the system. What will happen when she starts blooming into the person she should have been able to from the very beginning? I recommend you read this book. It will have you on an emotional journey. I can wait until the next book is released!! Must read!

This is my second book by SM Koz and I have to say that I wasn't disappointed.Hailey's story is one that is very realistic and that many girl encounter in their lifetime. She has had a rough life and you can't help but feel for her situation. She is living with an ideal that she doesn't deserve to be loved and worshiped. That changes however when her new foster family comes into the picture. With the Campbell's she realizes that she has a chance to overcome her situation. She starts off as an insecure girl but slowly grows into a strong women. Hailey was a great heroine, but that in part came from her growing relationship with Brad. Brad was Hailey's "Knight in shining armor". She found safety and love with him. He helped her see the good in herself and showed her what it meant to be loved. When the story alternates to his POV you get to experience Hailey's situation through his eyes and I thought that really added to the story. There were times when I wanted to reach in the book and kick him, but he made up for those ten times over. All in all, LMLMN was a fantastic read. Grab your copy today. And if you haven't read SM Koz other book, Breaking Free, do yourself a favor a pick it up too! Thank you to SM Koz for providing and eARC of this book!

*This book was provided by the publisher/author for an honest review.Love Me, Love Me Not had me being an emotional the entire book! With Haley's sleazy boyfriend, how foster families treated her and how lovingly the Campbell's treated her upon just meeting her, I blubbered like a baby. This wasn't your typical New Adult or Young Adult, besides the emotional drama, you really get a perspective into the set backs older foster kids face. But there were a lot of happy times in this book too! Plenty of jovial parts that countered the darkness it. I was initially worried when I read the first chapter where Haley is showed with her scumbag boyfriend, I wasn't sure if she was a heroine I could root for but don't let that throw you off! I also worried about at first about just how perfect and dreamy the male lead Brad was but without spoiling anything, those fears were quashed too. Overall, a great read that really took me by surprise!*This review was done in conjunction with Nerd Girl Official. This book is one of my favorites by SM Koz. It was a definite page turner, one that sucks you in as soon as you start reading. I had a tough time putting this book down. It really was that good. This novel is written in dual POV's between the two main characters, Hailey and Brad. I adored both these characters. They're complete opposites yet fit together so completely. The banter between them was hysterical. I found myself laughing out loud at times. The laughter turned to sadness and sometimes anger when I got a glimpse into Hailey's broken past. She often refers to herself as "damaged goods" and doesn't see a bright future for herself. For 17 years she's been subjected to emotional and physical abuse at the hands of her Mother, she's never experienced love or knows what it feels like to have someone love her. Love Me, Love Me Not was beautifully written. The story flowed perfectly. There was romance, secrets, plot twists, and intrigue. Ms. Koz did a phenomenal job writing this novel and I cannot wait for the next book. I have a feeling Brad and Hailey's journey isn't over just yet. I highly recommend this book, one of my top reads for 2016!

Love Me, Love Me Not was my first time reading a novel by S M Koz. It certainly won't be my last. This book was engaging, entertaining and enjoyable to read. Love Me, Love Me Not is written from dual point of view. The characters are really well written, they are complex, yet realistic and believable. Once I started this book, I couldn't put it down. Hailey has had a difficult childhood, being subjected to psychological and physical abuse for the first 17 years of her life. Brad is from a wealthy family, the star quarterback and very popular. He's never been interested enough in a girl to have a girlfriend. They say opposites attract, or in this case in-congruent figures attract. This book is both heartbreaking, but also heart warming. The banter and conversations between the characters had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion. Love Me, Love Me Knot, has a bit of everything romance, mystery, angst mixed with a few plot twists that keep you engaged to the very end. Lovers of new adult and contemporary romance will love this book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series, and get more of Hailey and Brad's Story.

Another captivating read by SM Koz!Love Me, Love Me Not is a sweet love story that touches on some hard-hitting truths. The peek into the foster care system is presented in a very real, very raw way. Because the story is told from a dual POV, it's easy to feel for Hailey, while at the same time commiserating with Brad when he has to make some tough life decisions. You can see how the author has crafted these two to play off one another; each bringing something into the other's world they've yet to experience. Yes, Brad *could* be too good to be true and Hailey *could* be a damsel in distress, but mid-way through this book you'll see how each character has their own demons to battle and victories to achieve. LMLMN has some angst, a few twists and turns, and ends on a HFN (happily for now) note. Most questions are answered by the end of the book; however there are a few things that this reader would like to see play out. I was excited to read the teaser for book two after the final page!If you're looking for a page-turning, can't put down, mild on the explicit but heavy on the feels read, Love Me, Love Me Not is for you!

WHAT a find!Words almost fail me. This is one of the very finest NA Romances - and quite possibly the very best - I have *ever* read.First, the characterization. Top drawer, no contest. Then the plot. Realistic, complex, great tension, completely believable. Plus the romance, or do I mean playing checkers? Sweet, believable, quite hot without ever descending into erotica. Finally there's the expertise in the foundation of the whole foster care thing. Brilliant. And S.M. Koz does all this with a leading couple who sound like the worst sort of stereotype - I have to admit, I was very skeptical, but the book was a free download.Crits: A car has brakes, not breaks. And it's a rift, not riff. That would be about it for the negatives.Since the book already has about ten stars out of five from me, I'll give it 9.5 out of 5.You like NA, romance, drama, YA, literary value? Read this. You won't find anything better.

Love Me Love Me Not was fantastic read. It kept me entertained from beginning to end I couldn't put it down. Hailey hasn't had an easy life, her mom is a druggie and Hailey has been put into foster care. She knows that working is the only way she will get anything cause nothing is handed to you The only constant person she has had is Chase and he's bad to the bone. He has a way of screwing things up for Hailey. Brad is the son of Hailey's new foster parents and he not sure what to think about his new foster sister. He is the star quarterback on his school team and he has scouts looking at him for a football scholarship. His parents are well off so Brad never has to worry about money. The Campbells treat her like a daughter and for the first time Hailey is feeling like she part of a family. As Brad and Hailey get to know eachother they become friends. I can't wait to see what's happening with them in the next book.

Wow! this book was in some ways so sweet and innocent at times and then at others it was like a crazy suspenseful make you insane angry whirlwind. Once I started, I could not put it down, but I had to sleep and work. What I really loved about this girl was that she was a fighter. I love to read books where the female lead does not always need a prince to save the day. I love it when she rides her own horse to her own rescue and kicks a little butt in the meantime while also keeping some of her innocents intact. Most importantly this book is full of lessons like how foster kids small and big need a loving home and most of all not to assume guilt and then make them prove their innocents. This was an incredible journey that I can't wait to see how the future unfolds. For more reviews, go to bbsbookreviews.com
