When the opportunity to review an eARC of this book came up, I quickly jumped on it like white on rice. The storyline was so well written and captivating that I did not put my tablet down until I turned the last page. The characters that I grew to love while watching The Vampire Diaries and The Originals certainly do not disappoint and you feel a certain kinship with them as you find yourself smack dab in the middle of beautiful and mysterious NOLA with all of its dangers. I could practically see myself walking through Lafayette Cemetery with Bonnie and Klaus. This quick and too short of a read surpassed all of my expectationsI must say that this is the first thing written by this author that I have read and I will certainly be reading more of her books. You will definitely want to read this and I am sure you'll love it just as much as I did. -YA/NA Book Divas{I requested a copy for reviewing purposes and made no guarantee of a favorable review. Bonnie is on vacation in New Orleans and is ready for a fun and relaxing time, but when Elijah and some witches go missing, she is the only one who can help figure out what is going on. So I don't want to go into the details of the plot too much because this is novella, and as such I would ruin the plot if I talk about it too much!! So all I'll say is it's well written and developed and I was sorry to see it end. The author captured the characters perfectly and I want more!!!! The Vampire Diaries is one of my favourite shows, so getting to revisit Bonnie was just awesome, and when you add in New Orleans as the setting and Klaus and Elijah, well I was like a kid in a candy store. I didn't just read this, I devoured it!! Jena Gregoire, please tell me there's more, pretty please!! ;) I received this for review, but this in no way affected my thoughts or opinions.

As a fan of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals I couldn’t wait to read this story. I’ve never read anything by this author and I was very impressed with this novella. I enjoyed the plot, the pacing was good and most importantly I loved the message behind this story. People who have done us wrong in the past aren’t always bad guys and they can redeem themselves and it’s good to forgive and start fresh. *ARC Review* For more reviews check me out at:

I just finished reading this wonderful book. I really enjoyed reading this adventure..... I gotta say I was so not ready for The Vampire Diaries to end so to be able to read this spin off of Bonnie's adventure was an absolute joy & having so many of our loved characters also being part of this book is the cherry on top. Since I'm also a huge Originals fan, I loved reading about Klaus and Elijah. And I loved how they all worked together...... it was like old times! Jena Gregoire did an amazing job. This book is a must read!

It started off as a vacation but things never remain as we intend. Meeting old enemies, getting caught up in something that she had no intention of finding. She only wanted some down time. Things get a little hairy and unpredictable but she plans to rise above the occasion. This is the first book in a new series and I absolutely loved it. I loved the characters, the lines, the humor when needed. Overall, I can't wait to see what she writes next to top this book. This is a new Author for me and I'm a huge fan. I voluntarily received a complementary copy for an honest review.

I loved "The Vampire Diaries" original books as well as the TV series and the spin-off series "The Originals" so I was pleased when this book of the Bennett Witch Chronicles, also had a couple of the Mikaelson brothers in it. I won't say anymore as I would hate to give away too much of the story. As much as I loved the book I have only given four stars as the books are quite short, which is handy if like me you don't like to put a good book down, however, had it been longer I wouldn't have hesitated to give the full five stars. If like me you also enjoyed the books and TV series then I recommend you read this series.

This is the first book I have read in this series and loved it so much. I love the show The Vampire Diaries and loved getting get back into that world by reading this book. Bonnie has gone to New Orleans for a vacation. Her friends will be coming later but she decided she needed some time by herself first. She has lost Enzo and is having dreams about his death but the dreams are different from how it really happened. While there is runs into Elijah. While she hasn’t always been on friendly terms with the Mikaelsons she talks with Elijah. She finds that he different now that they are no longer on opposite sides of something. Maybe they aren’t as bad as she thought they were. Then when Elijah goes missing as well as all the witches in New Orleans she finds herself on the same side as Klaus. Will she be able to find Elijah and the missing witches? Klaus and some other unexpected friends help her. Now will they be able to help them before it’s too late? I have already put the other books in this series on my TBR list. I can’t say enough about this book. I truly loved it. I love all the characters from The Vampire Diaries. Bonnie has always been one of my favorites. And who doesn’t love to hate the Mikaelsons? The book was written very well and I couldn’t put it down once I started it. I look forward to reading more books in this series in the future. Congrats on a fantastic book Jena.I was given this book in return for an honest review.

I love the Bennett Witch Chronicles! Wonderful continuation from the Vampire Diaries, following up on things that happened in the final season. If you can't already tell by the titles on these stories, Bonnie Bennett is the main character, but several of the characters from the TV series make appearances. In this story, Bonnie travels to New Orleans. She rents and apartment from a young witch named Cass for a few weeks and her friends from Mystic Falls plan to come out for Mari Gras the following week. Soon after arriving, she runs into Elijah Mikaelson and not long after, Klaus Mikaelson, both past nemesis's and original vampires. Cass' brother Roman (who is also a vampire) from down the hall offers to show her around the the city after a stop at his sister's shop. They discover she is missing and then find out all the witches in the quarter are missing, as well as Elijah. It is now up to Bonnie to help solve this mystery of where the witches are. She will have to reverse a curse and hope that Roman and Klaus will stay by her side because this won't be an easy battle. She's been in a similar situation and needs all the help she can get. This isn't some simple little spell - it's complicated and powerful magic. Somehow no matter how hard Bonnie tries to live a more normal life, paranormal/magical drama always seems to find her. She is still a kicka$$ witch who comes out the winner. If you never watched the TV series, there is enough information provided to read this world of books anyway. I am just so excited to be able to continue to keep up with all the awesome characters I loved from the show. Full of adventure, magic, friendship, family, witty banter, and loyalty. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
